Chrono Guide – Final Fantasy XIV guide review

14

final fantasy xiv guideI just went through one of the best Final Fantasy XIV Guide out there, so I thought I will write a review on it real quick.

Finally!! A Final Fantasy XIV guide that’s worth buying!

As a former Final Fantasy 11 player, I had been waiting a long time for Final Fantasy XIV to come out. I needed a new game to play and FFXIV could not have come at a better time.

It turns out all the other gamers out there have been waiting for Final Fantasy 14 as well because when I finally got a chance to log in, the starter areas were swarmed and I could barely find any monsters. I was frustrated and confused because I had no idea what to do and had trouble figuring out what to do.

I began looking for some suggestions for Final Fantasy XIV Guide and finally ran into the Chrono Guide. Chrono Guide claims to be the #1 Final fantasy 14 guide with the fastest leveling path from 1-50. I remember how hard it was to level up in Final Fantasy XI, so I figured picking up the Chrono Guide would be a good idea.

*Click here to pick up the Chrono Final Fantasy XIV Guide*

I was blown away – the Chrono Guide was exactly what I was looking for. First off, the guide came with step-by-step instructions so I was able to get all my quests and start leveling right away. These guys literally walked all over Eorzea and marked down the best leveling spots in the game, level by level. You never have to wonder where to go next or deal with any competition because the leveling maps have it all marked down for you.

Plus, there is a quest guide, which lets you know how to beat your current Leve (Final Fantasy 14′s quest system) and lets you know how hard it is going to be. It is really frustrating when you fail a quest and it is just as frustrating when you group up for an easy quest and miss out on all those experience points.
With the Chrono Guide you know exactly how difficult each quest is so you can solo all the easy quests then group up with a buddy on the tough ones and maximize your experience gain.

After finally leveling up, I was able to follow the crafting and gil guide to level up a craft very quickly and cheaply and buy all the best gear for my character at the same time. Gear makes leveling up a lot faster, and I can even repair my own weapons thanks to the crafting guide.

Here are just some of the features of the Chrono’s Final Fantasy XIV Guide:

  • Step-by-step leveling guide for every city
  • Battlecraft Leve guide so you know exactly how to beat all the quests
  • An amazing crafting guide which teaches you the easiest way to get to the max level
  • Detailed monsters maps, both for leveling up quickly and making money
  • Guides for all 3 starting cities
  • Discover how to get 2-3x as much experience points from leves (this will blow you away and will double your leveling speed)
  • Gil guide so you never have to worry about money
  • Free Updates (they have already updated twice and I picked it up a week ago)

..and so much more. Another thing I really like about Chrono Final Fantasy XIV Guide is that the support is fast and the updates are consistent so I know this guide will continue to be the best as the game grows.

The Chrono Guide has literally changed the way I play Final Fantasy 14. Before I picked up this guide, I was literally running around without a clue of where to go and was lucky to find a monster. Now, I am the highest level person in my linkshell and most importantly I am having a blast!

If you are serious about leveling up as fast as possible and making tons of gil in the process, then I strongly recommend you pick up the Chrono Final Fantasy Xiv Guide.

Final Fantasy 14 Guide eBook
Thank you for reading my latest entry on Final Fantasy XIV guide. Today, I will write about a brand new Final Fantasy XIV guide that is getting popular day by day. Final Fantasy 14 is really close to release and we are almost near the go-live date. I was pre-ordering the collectors edition anyways so I thought I would also order this new Final Fantasy XIV guide that is set to release almost same time around the game launch.

So what gave me this idea to get a Final Fantasy XIV guide?

I was doing some research about FFXIV and it turns out millions of players are expected to play this game. What does that mean? Competition! It’s going to be bigger and bad ass compared to its previous titles. As I was playing beta, I read about this upcoming Final fantasy 14 guide by Chronos that contains almost everything you need to master this game.

A good FFXIV guide or FF14 guide?

And as you probably know, in an MMORPG, the faster you level initially, you get to mingle with the top players in the game. Final fantasy has got a huge fan following, so trying to get to the top ASAP, should be our primary priority. Get on top initially in an MMORPG and you stay there with little effort later as the competition grows and struggles to catch up. That is why it is imperitive that you get your hands on this premium FFXIV Guide now.

Final Fantasy XIV Guide Author, the person behind FFXIV Guide:

The author, is a highly reputed player and I’ve seen him around since Beta days.  He really knows this game much better and is among few top players during beta days. Every one wants to keep their secrets, but Chrono thinks otherwise. He has put down his experience, leveling strategies, secrets, tips and tricks in several Final fantasy 14 guide books so that others can benefit and advance through Final fantasy XIV much faster.

Currently the major titles from Chrono are Final Fantasy XIV class guide, Final Fantasy XIV Gil guide and Final Fantasy XIV leveling guide. There was a choice to get individual guides, but I thought it would be better to get the complete package as it was a nice deal and available at a discounted price.

Also note that once the game goes live, the price of FFXIV guide will be pushed up. The guides are currently priced at a special PRE-LAUNCH price.

Well that’s all for this entry. I’ll write more about Final fantasy XIV guide later as I get time.

FFXIV Botanist

Botanist

Botanists gather resources from all forms of plant life in Eorzea. In this Final fantasy 14 guide we will discuss the importance of Botanists in the game. Without them, no one will harvest grains and vegetables; tend fruit-bearing tree; gather wild grasses; cultivate plants used for textiles; log timber for carpentry works; and a lot more.

Botanists can gather various raw materials that can be used by crafters, such as Carpenters, Weavers, Alchemists, and Culinarians. Botanists get only what is needed rather than stripping the land of all its resources. Their primary tool of the trade is the Hatchet with the Scythe being their secondary tool.

Stone Throw – Botanist throws a rock at the enemy. This inflicts minimal damage due to the fact that Disciplines of the Land have no Attack attribute. Damage done by this action can be modified by strength. When used after a Wrist Flick, the target is stunned.

Wrist Flick – Botanist throws with great speed that gives the next attack the chance to stun the target. It lasts only a couple of seconds or until the next Stone Throw.

Miners excavate and handle Eorzea’s minerals in all forms, whether it’s ores, precious stones, or fossils. Blacksmiths and Goldsmiths eagerly wait for what the Miners were able to gather.

Miners don’t just dig anywhere. They mastered techniques such as how to properly prospect the minutest deposits and large-scale civil engineering. They believe in the theory of continental drift and worship Oshon, the Wanderer. Their primary tool is the Pickaxe, although they can also use Knapping and Hammer.

A Final fantasy 14 guide about Miners is not complete without tackling their various skills. It is common knowledge that Miners are excellent stone throwers but not everyone knows that they can debilitate enemies through mineral compositions.

Miner Battle Skills

To complete this Final Fantasy 14 Guide on Miners, we now have the different Battle Actions that Miners can use. These actions can be used to fend off attacks from enemies lurking near mineral deposits. The two Miner Battle Actions are:

Final Fantasy 14 Beta – Miner – Mining

This video was Recorded during beta 3in FFXIV. The miner gets the running speed boost at the start of the video thanks to the mining ability prospect. The mining Ability prospect gives you a short movement speed increase as long as you are not near any mining point(I am guessing to reach the mines faster :) ). Once you find a spot to mine, mining becomes like a hot and cold mini game. Miners can also share points this time, unlike FFXI. – By MithraTales

Roegadyn

FFXIV Roegadyn Class

Roegadyn

The Lore

For the Roegadyn, size does matter. They are maritime folks who travelled from the northern seas until they arrived at Eorzea. Though they remained ruthless, they managed to find jobs in the realm that are suitable for their innate characteristics. Most Roegadyn in Eorzea are males because the women were left behind.

At first glance, you’ll notice that they have enormous, muscular builds. Roedagyn are the largest and most rugged among the races in Eorzea as stated in the Final fantasy 14 guide. They are brawny and can easily intimidate other. As a whole, the Roegadyn are quite competitive and full of courage although there are some who are tender and meditative in nature.

There are two Roegadyn sub-races. These are:

FFXIV Roegadyn SubJobs

Roegadyn Sea Wolves

Sea Wolves usually come from and around the Limsa Lominsa area. They are seamen who have become mercenaries, bodyguards or pirates by trade. They originally came from the islands in the northern seas where they were fishermen. There was a time when no coastal village or vessel is safe from their brand of brutality. According to the Final Fantasy 14 guide, most Roegadyn in the realm are part of this group.

Roegadyn Hellsguard

The Hellsguard live deep in the mountains of Ul’dah. It is said that this group of Roegadyn have mastered the magical arts. Both their mind and body are tempered by their volcanic environs. They believe that the volcano is the fiery gates to the underworld and they are on the constant vigil against souls who want to go back into the realm of the living. Because of their sheer thickness of their body and steely demeanor, Hellsguard can choose either monastic or martial way of living. They find work as smithies or bodyguards.

Miqo’te

FFXIV Miqote Class

Miqote

The Lore

The Miqote arrived in Eorzea during the age of the Endless Frost when seas were turned into ice and travelling from one continent to another was easily done. It was during that time when foreign animals made their way into the realm and they were followed by the hunting tribe called Miqo’te. They stayed in Eorzea even until the end of the Endless Frost period. They are still regarded as one of the best hunters in the realm. We have atleast one of us at Final fantasy 14 guide, looking to play Miqote desperately.

Modern day Miqo’te keep to themselves and are territorial. There are only a few of them residing in cities and they usually lead an isolated lifestyle. They don’t like to be in contact with other races. You wouldn’t see a Miqo’te mingling with others in a crowded place. The males of their race tend to live solitary lives. This is the reason why most of the Miqo’te that made the transition into Eorzea civilization are female. Others thought that they are an all-female race.

Click here to check out the #1 Final Fantasy XIV Guide

At present the Miqo’te are divided into two groups. You can easily determine what group an individual Miqo’te belongs to according to their appearance. What’s common with them is their great sense of smell and powerful legs. They also have a tail that provides them with extraordinary balance. These traits make them good in hunting and predation.

Miqo’te are divided according to the goddess they worship. Their lifestyle is based on what group they belong to. As stated by the Final Fantasy 14 guide, the two Miqo’te groups are:

FFXIV Miqote Subjobs

Miqo’te Keepers of the Moon

The Keepers of the Moon love to stay up all night. They stay indoors during the day and when night comes, they offer their prayers to Menphina the Lover, who is the goddess of the moon. Modern day Keepers of the Moon apply war paint to their faces, which enhances their appearance. Nocturnal by nature, you wouldn’t find them basking under the sun during the day.

Miqo’te Seekers of the Sun

On the other hand, the Seekers of the Sun relish the sunlight. They prefer the sun’s warmth and worships Azeyma the Warden, who is the goddess of the sun. You can tell if a Miqo’te is a Seeker of the Sun by looking at the eyes. Seekers of the Sun have vertically aligned pupils and faintly colored irises. As Seekers of the Sun, most of their activities are done during the day.

Lalafell

FFXIV Lalafell Class

The Lore

The Lalafell were farmers from the fertile islands in the South Seas. There were no Lalafell in Eorzea before but this was changed when transmarine commerce was introduced. Because of the trade routes, they finally found their way to Eorzea. At present they are one of the most populous races in the realm and can be found in most cities except in the cold regions because they find cold climates to be hostile to them.

Don’t be deceived by the Lalafell’s short, round build. They might look like children but despite their appearances, they have great agility. Plus their short legs can take them long distances over any terrain in Eorzea. They are known to have highly developed intelligence and be very cunning. They can’t easily be fooled by anyone. Final fantasy 14 guide are totally into Lalafells. They are just too cute(classic mistake?).

For Lalafell, family ties come first but this doesn’t hinder them to be friendly with other races. This is evident with their good relationship with all the races in the realm. They have no known enemies and can live harmoniously with others. They are one of the well-established races in Eorzea and you can find a lot of them in every city state.

Click here to check out the #1 Final Fantasy XIV Guide

There are two types of Lalafell in Eorzea. This is according to the way they live. According to the Final Fantasy 14 guide, they are:

Final Fantasy 14 Hyur SubJobs

Dunesfolk Lalafell

The Dunesfolk live in unique structures in the dunes of Eorzea. Their dwellings are fixed on top of large beasts of burden. You can distinguish the Dunesfolk Lalafolk from the Plainsfolk ones through their eyes. The Dunesfolk’s eyes have a glossy, protective layer that covers their pupils to protect them from sunlight. This makes them stand being in the desert most of their lives. Majority of them have a small gemstone on their forehead that represents their zodiac sign.

Plainsfolk Lalafell

The Plainsfolk live on the flat lands. To the outsider, all they can see are the traditional Lalafell thatched huts but beneath these huts is an intricate network of underground passageways. They use this to move around their village. Their distinct hair colors of earthy and grassy hues are similar to the tones of their native environment. They have long, pointed ears that can hear the smallest sound made from afar.

Hyur

FFXIV Hyur Class

Hyur Lore

The Hyur have the largest population in Eorzea today but they remained as diverse as before. In the beginning there were no Hyur in the realm but their numbers grew because of their three migratory waves into the realm. They came from the neighboring islands and continents. Final fantasy 14 guide didn’t state the reason as to what led to the migration of the Hyur into Eorzea.

They have medium physique, both in build and height. You can immediately recognize a Hyur from the other races through their ears. They have short, rounded ears, which is unique among the races in Eorzea. They can travel long distances by foot, which is one of the reasons of their increasing population in various parts of the realm. You can find a Hyur in every corner of Eorzea.

Click here to check out the #1 Final Fantasy XIV Guide

During their travel to Eorzea, they brought with them sophisticated technology, which are useful in taming the new land. Technology made life easy in the continent. They are also responsible for the cultural progress of the realm and spearheaded the various advances of the realm’s civilization. They managed to do this despite the initial resistance of the native Elezen, which has resulted into violent conflicts.

The Hyur have various languages and diverse social institutions. They believe in individual freedoms. These are probably the reasons why the race suffers from lack of solidarity and group unity. Because of their vast diversity as a group, they can’t find a single cultural identity. Although there were no in-fighting between groups of Hyur, it led to the formation of two distinct groups among them. According to Final Fantasy 14 guide, these are:

Final Fantasy 14 Hyur SubJobs

Highland Hyur

The Highland Hyur live in Eorzea’s mountain regions. Their build is larger than the Midlanders because they had to adapt to their environment in order to survive. There are a few Higland Hyur left after the fall of Ala Mhigo. Those who survived now work in city-states as sellswords and mercenaries. They are the best in their line of work.

Click here to check out the #1 Final Fantasy XIV Guide

Midland Hyur

The Midland Hyur chose to stay on lower elevations. They compromise more than half of the total Hyur population in Eorzea. They can be found in almost all the city states in the realm. Their lives are as diverse as their heritage. Midland Hyur are more educated than most of the other races because they start training their youth in letters. They are more mild mannered than the Highlanders.
